The Rico Shadow Guest House is located in Waikkala on the west coast a few kilometers north of Negombo. The rooms and grounds (several houses and land) are well maintained. Until the very beautiful sandy beach is perhaps 150 meters. Right behind it is a small lagoon. The chef speaks German, among others. At the time of our stay served a very nice German waiter who gave us lots of tips and information. From 2 nights the transfer from or to the airport in Colombo was provided at the residence. This and the good reviews of other guests were checking in on the Internet for us reasons - we were not disappointed.
